Following the recent Australian Championships in Brisbane, congratulations are extended to the five Stags players on their outstanding performances.

NSW Country finished in second place losing to Queensland in the Grand Final, who remained undefeated throughout the Championships. NSW Metro also finished in a highly creditable fourth place.

Hearty congratulations are extended to Cooper Williams who performed superbly with the bat and was named in the ‘Australian Merit Team’ at the conclusion of the Championships. An outstanding achievement for this highly talented U16 player!

Outstanding performances were also achieved by the four other Stags players. Captain of NSW Country, Sam Davis was in fine form to finish in 8th position overall in batting across the ten teams, while Vivaan Gandhi was in 10th position, in batting, along with 6 wickets.

Also in bowling, another U16 player, fast bowler Charlie Chippendale was placed in 10th position overall, while the third of our U16 representatives, Sean Twining, displayed wicketkeeping of the highest quality throughout the Championships.

The club is very proud of all five boys and their names and performances will be followed with close interest in the future.
