Huge congratulations to former Stag Matt Parkinson on his selection in the England Test Squad to play 3 Tests in the West Indies. He is an old-school legspinner, who often finds sharp turn and plenty of drift. Parky has played five ODIs and four T20Is for England but is yet to make his Test debut.
He represented the Stags in the 2017-18 season, taking 48 wickets in all competitions, including 21 wickets in First Grade.
Parky, who plays for Lancashire in the County Championship, had his best first-class season in 2021. He played 11 matches, picking up 36 wickets at 20.55, including one 5 wicket haul. Parky produced his own “ball of the century” in 2021. Click here to watch it.
