Nick Miller has been appointed GDCC Assistant Coach for the 2021-22 season. A club favourite, Nick is a talented allrounder who claimed 147 wickets and scored 1,991 runs for the stags between 2013 and 2021, mostly in second grade. A dangerous fast bowler, he is perhaps best known for his punishing batting. Nick has coached our Green Shield team for the last two seasons, helping the team to reach the semi-finals last season. In addition to his duties as assistant coach, Millsy will continue as Green Shield Coach this season, again sharing the role with Matt Wright.
Nick will support our new Head Coach Elliot Richtor. They will work closely with our specialist coaches, Matt Nicholson (fast bowling) Mark O’Neill (batting) Mark Atkinson (wicketkeeping and fielding) and our new Director of Cricket, Mark Carmichael, to help our players perform at their best in the upcoming season.
