During the course of the last week, seven Stags players participated in the NSW U19 Country Championships at Tuggerah, and with great success.
Congratulations to Jaylen Johnston, who as captain of Central Coast, turned in stellar all round performances to be named ‘Player of the Tournament’. Jaylen finished at the top of both the batting (222 at 111. 00) and bowling (22 at 12.17) statistics, while Rory McLean, captain of North Coast, continued his excellent recent form, finishing second in the batting department with (217 at 54.25).
Most impressive too were the performances of last year’s young Greenies, Sam Davis and Cooper Williams, with Sam finishing as number three in the batting (201 at 50.25) and Cooper at number thirteen (135 at 27). Certainly the club’s batting department looks to be in very safe hands into the future!
Well done also to Cooper Pullen, Ryan Bulow and Jacob Curry, who all contributed significantly to their respective teams’ performances over the four day championships.

Go the Stags!
Cheers
